1.保持冷靜：如果昆蟲爬進耳朵裡，切勿驚慌，因為耳道是一條死路，並不會直接連接到大腦。

2.別試圖挖出來：山姆醫師強調，千萬不要嘗試自行使用工具將昆蟲挖出，這可能對耳道造成更大的傷害。

3.淹死昆蟲：醫生表示，若想解決昆蟲問題，淹死牠是一個比挖除更好的方法。可以倒入一些橄欖油以淹死昆蟲，或讓昆蟲自己從耳朵跑出來。然而，在執行此方法之前，最好還是先諮詢醫生的意見。
